Based on some of the posts on the forum, I got in touch with Russ a few days ago as I wanted a pre purchase inspection on a private sale.

Russ couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and supportive.

I’m not mechanically minded and found it refreshing to have someone willing to spend time talking everything through and providing the reassurance I hoped for, from someone I felt i could trust.

I would also like to thank Scott for doing the inspection this evening.

Just had suspension refresh(car has done 108K miles); arms, forks strut tops, geo-tracked. Handling and composure over A-roads transformed. Steering feel awesome. Thanks to Russ and the crew at Birstall. Well recommended.

The car didn't skip a beat yesterday at Donington, and I know it would have if it wasn't for your care and technical knowhow looking after it.

These guys really take the worries away if you take their skill, knowledge and advice onboard. I rate them highly and can only say give them a try. You will be impressed. If you are travelling from a distance it is worth it.
