Porsche Boxster 981 visits us

We had the privilege to welcome the first Porsche Boxster 981 into our workshop and we thought we’d take some photos. It’s great for the technicians to get to know the new technology and this was an ideal opportunity to have a good nosey around.

There are a whole host of changes to the exterior and the overall feel of the car gives the impression that the build quality is superior to that of its older sibling. The doors feel heavier and take a look at that interior – you have to admit that this is a real head turner!

For those of you who are familiar to the underside of the 987.2, you will see many similarities – it’ll be interesting if we see the same issues with the suspension and manifold/exhaust fixings etc. You can see from the photos that they are still exposed to the elements.

One more for prosperity – the car has certainly evolved and we look forward to see more of these in the near future.
